immersive web experiences
Hi, I’m Shirrel, a creative developer specializing in WebGL, 3D, and scroll-driven motion.
where video flows into 3D
I build immersive websites where video flows into interactive 3D experiences, revealing something new as you scroll.
This page is the shape of it. A filmed bee drops out of the footage, comes back as a rendered one, turns toward you and lands on a flower that breathes — all of it driven by your scroll, all of it under a sheet of glass you can press.
The footage is the anchor. The 3D takes over exactly where the film lets go, so nothing feels bolted on.
how a site gets built
Understand
We start with the one moment the site is for — what a visitor should feel, and where the footage, the product or the story has to carry it. That decides everything after it.
Structure
The page is planned as a flow before it is designed as screens: what the scroll drives, where the 3D takes over, what stays legible on a phone and for anyone who turns motion off.
Build
Real footage, real models, real copy from the first build — nothing stands in for the thing itself. You see it running in the browser early, and often.
Ship
Tuned for the devices your visitors actually use, with the heavy parts loading only when they are needed. You get the source, and a plain account of how it works.
who I work with
- Agencies that need WebGL expertise on a project. I join your team for the parts of the build that need a specialist — the 3D, the scroll choreography, the performance work — and hand back code your developers can keep.
- Companies looking to create a memorable interactive moment: a hero, a product reveal, a launch page that people send to each other. One thing, done properly.
- Or shape an entire website around that moment — the interaction first, and the structure, the copy and the pages built out from it so the whole site holds the same feeling.
get in touch
I’m currently booking projects through January 2027. Get in touch soon to reserve a spot before my availability fills up — tell me what you’re building and when it needs to be live.
